Pilgrim (Heavenly Secrets Private Limited) is a D2C skincare and haircare startup founded by two IIT & IIM alumni, the company has quickly grown from 5 members to a 45-member team that proudly works for a 100% cruelty-free, non-toxic brand and has fun while doing so!
About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Proofreading: Carefully review written content, including product packaging, articles, blog posts, documents, reports, and other materials, to identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
2. Language and Style: Ensure that the content adheres to the desired language style and guidelines, including consistency in tone, voice, and formatting
3. Accuracy: Verify facts, figures, and references in the content to ensure accuracy and reliability
4. Cross-check information with reliable sources when necessary
5. Consistency: Maintain consistency in language usage, terminology, and formatting throughout the document or publication
6. Formatting and layout: Check for consistency in formatting, including headings, subheadings, bullet points, numbering, fonts, and spacing
7. Ensure that the document follows the prescribed style guide or formatting guidelines
8. Feedback and collaboration: Provide constructive feedback to writers and editors regarding grammar, style, and clarity
+. Communicate with team members if additional time is needed or if any challenges arise
10. Proofreading tools: Utilize appropriate proofreading tools, such as spelling and grammar checkers, to enhance accuracy and efficiency; however, rely on your own judgment and expertise to make final decisions.
11. Quality assurance: Ensure the overall quality of the content by paying attention to detail and upholding high standards of accuracy, consistency, and readability
12. Continuous improvement: Stay updated with language and grammar rules, style guides, and industry-specific terminology
13. Seek opportunities for professional development and enhance your proofreading skills
1. Candidates who have completed their graduation in English literature are preferred
