Key responsibility area:
• Design and calculate wastewater Aeration systems, including the selection of Diffusers and sizing of Piping.
• Prepare part lists and cost calculations of Aeration System.
• Create CAD Drawings and techno-commercial quotations.
• Discuss with clients to assure compliance with specifications and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation
• Provide technical support and guidance to Sales Team, Project Team and Client engineers and technicians.
Job Description:
• Prepare, coordinate and assist, as required, in the preparation of proposals for the Clients, working with the Senior Proposals Engineer & Sales Team
• Discuss project requirements with clients and sub-contractors
• Cross-Check specifications and tender drawings to confirm compliance with the overall design
• Compile tender documentation incorporating all technical and commercial inputs
• Participate in tender reviews
• Travelling to project sites and participate in site inspections and meetings as required
Essential Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD and data analysis tools.
• Basic Knowledge of Wastewater Aeration treatment processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and be open to taking on various tasks on behalf of the organization to be a key member.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Proposals & Design of treatment systems, preferably in the water and wastewater engineering.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, modeling software and data analysis tools.
