Your New Role
As a Protect Administrator, you’ll be part of the Protect Team within our Member Engagement, Education and Advice Value Streams. You’ll manage day‑to‑day administration of insurance underwriting applications, corporate account processes and member support activities — contributing directly to improved member experience and outcomes.

This is a full-time contract (hourly rate), commencing in March 2026 until October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Administer insurance underwriting applications, exceptions, member correspondence, and insurer liaison, ensuring accurate and timely processing;
Manage corporate account administration including application processing, employer communications, salary‑based insurance updates, and premium reconciliation;
Provide member support via phone and email, including assistance with insurance queries, financial hardship applications and escalation handling for vulnerable members;
Process insurance proceeds, premium refunds, new account creation and indexing of inbound correspondence across Zendesk and related systems;
Support risk, compliance and incident management activities by raising breaches, providing root‑cause analysis for data exceptions, and contributing to remediation; and
Collaborate across internal teams, providing administrative support, improving process quality, and contributing to data integrity and reporting enhancements.

Strong experience in administration processing, ideally in a customer‑focused environment;
Experience in superannuation administration and insurance, will be highly regarded;
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal;
High attention to detail, resilience under pressure and the ability to manage complex exceptions;
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently;
RG146 for superannuation is an advantage; and
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
