Your New Role
In the role of Protect Administrator you will be required to process underwriting exceptions for members and provide support to the Protect team. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Handling insurance application exceptions which failed or cannot be automatically processed to the member registry records
Producing member correspondence relating to insurance applications, providing outcomes and updates
Providing support to members by responding to enquiries by Phone (preferred channel) or email
Manage the execution of insurance payments from the insurer to members accounts based on payment types
Complete applications for Compassionate Ground through voice contracts, online and paper-based applications. Ensuring risk-based guidelines are adhered to.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience in a clerical or administrative support position
Customer service experience with outbound and inbound phone experience highly desired
Desired familiarity with claims and insurance administration & superannuation registry systems well regarded
Desired familiarity with Superannuation Early release payments including Compassionate grounds and Permanent Incapacity
Desired Familiarity with Family Law splitting processes and form 6 requests for information
Excellent phone manner
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work towards established benchmarks and goals, and take ownership for work
High attention to detail
