We are seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return-to-work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams for both surgical and non-surgical treatments of work-related injuries. Active case management and communication with employers are also key.
Qualifications: preferred experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance.

Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Under the general direction performs a variety of C.T. procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply ionizing
radiation for diagnoses. Performs related work as required.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Valid CA State Certification License in unlimited diagnostic radiology services.
• CPR Certification required.
• Valid ARRT certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• 1-2 years experience in CT scanning.
• Venipuncture Certificate.
