Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PRT – Social Studies (SST) to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to primary classes, creating an engaging learning environment, and fostering students’ curiosity about the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons for primary grades.
• Develop lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Use innovative teaching methods to make learning interactive and interesting.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and activities.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment.
• Integrate real-life examples to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Organize activities, projects, and events related to Social Studies.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school activities.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Social Studies concepts (History, Geography, Civics).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Classroom management skills.
• Creativity and ability to engage young learners.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Smart Class tools).
Qualifications:
• Graduate or Postgraduate in Social Studies or relevant subject.
• B Ed is mandatory.
• CTET qualified candidates will be preferred.
