Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for handling Software Development profile for PSS Group:
1) After receiving product brief from marketing, design software and database architecture.
2) Guide the team technically for problem resolution. Conduct code reviews. Prepare test plant to validate and certify product like VAPT tests.
3) Understand new features to be incorporated or any customization required. Discuss for required changes with team and guide for development. Validate product.
4) Evaluate commercial / open source libraries.
5) Technical support and training to sales and service teams. Help sales teams for pre and post order discussions with customer and hand hold service to troubleshoot problems in software.
6) software engineering processes and tools used by service based IT companies. Prepare coding standards. Implement use of tools like scrum, Jira etc.
7) Participating in divisional initiatives like IMS, Kaizens, office safety, Business Excellence, PMO, etc
Essential Qualification: BSc-IT/Computer Science + MCA/MCM Degree in Engineering (Computers/IT) BSc-IT/Computer Science. Microsoft Professional certification MCSA (Web Applications)
Essential Work Experience: BSc-IT/Computer Science + MCA/MCM /Min 2yrsDegree in Engineering (Computers/IT) / Min 3yrsBSc-IT/Computer Science/ Min 4yrs
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Essential : Functional skills
- Experience with SQL server / Postgrace / My SQL
- Experience with native mobile development app on React
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
