We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time , will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

• This role forms part of the dedicated service layer of TTR/CASS RTB structure. It requires experience in providing comprehensive application management for large scale and mission critical applications by adhering to ITIL processes and standards. The candidate is able to read/write code, automates solution, well versed with instrumenting and debugging of application / infrastructure. Knowledge of financial markets (with a focus on Regulatory Reporting products/tools and business) and various Investment Banking services, products and offerings to have a meaningful engagement with business stakeholders will be preferred. One of the key aspects would be engaging with Senior RTB and BTB Managers & Stakeholders. Selected candidate will be directly accountable for managing and delivering Application Management services for Regulatory Reporting(TTR/CASS) Business and building out strong team(s) in the required location. Flexibility to work in rotating APAC and EMEA shifts" and on call support during weekend and holidays when required.

Candidate will also be required to –

• Represent Regulatory Reporting RTB in various business forums in Pune/Globally.

• Operate as per ITIL discipline and manage large transformation projects for Run The Bank (RTB).

What will you be doing?

• Manage large transformation projects for Run The Bank (RTB) which bring in optimal and efficient operation.

• Innovate with cutting edge Barclays approved technologies and tools to demonstrate efficiency gain by automation.

• Runs transformation and automation for Regulatory Reporting Team.

• Manage & Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless port-mortem and ensure effective permanent solution applied.

• Engage with other RTB Managers across the firm, explore existing technological solutions and apply them to their BU wherever possible.

• Works with Build the Bank, GTIS, Run the bank and Operations to identify manual tasks and automate.

• Strong communication and written skillset to engage with various senior IT stakeholders.

• Mentor and coach other team members across team/region.

• Define/develop team operating model and review developments done against target end-state.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in information system or computer science or any equivalent

• Knowledge of software programs in any of the technologies like Java, C++, C#, SQL, Python.

• Proven experience in working with structured and/or unstructured databases like Oracle, Mongo DB, MSSQL.

• Proven experience in scripting technologies like Shell, Perl/Python, Java Script, PHP, etc.

• Proven experience in working with Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems

• Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys.

• Certified or excellent knowledge of ITIL practices.

• Knowledge of Lean Control process, and various stages of Agile Change life cycle

• Working knowledge of Regulatory Reporting process and related products.

• Working/Implementation knowledge of Monitoring Tools such as ITRS.

Skills that will help you in the role :

• Knowledge of or working experience in cloud technologies.

• Knowledge of Back office process and systems in an Investment Bank

• Working knowledge of Project management tools

• Preferred to have certified in any of these technologies like AWS / DevOps.

• Communication Skills - role demands to interact with various key stake holders and senior management for escalations, candidate should strong in verbal and written communication
