Job Description
Located in Regina's coolest independent hotel (The Atlas°), the Knotted Thistle Pub is ready to add a lass or lad to the crew!
Why should you consider joining our Crew? Customers come from all over the city for the quintessential Irish pub experience and stay for the tasty food and drinks! You'll have the opportunity to serve our famous yards of beer, flights of wine or scotch, or our heaping plate of delicious Irish Nachos (don't worry, you'll get an awesome discount so you can take some nachos home for yourself). The Knotted Thistle also has a fun working atmosphere. We're all close mates here. The tips are excellent, the shifts are flexible, with our busiest times being evenings and weekends.
This position is part-time for up to 24 hours per week, with a focus on Sunday and Monday evenings. Evening shifts typically start between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
Our ideal candidate would:
Have 6 months to 1 year experience in serving. Having multiple years of experience is not required, but would be beneficial.
Be over the age of 1+.
Have hospitality running through their veins. (Not literally; if you do, you might have to go check that out.) But seriously, we want someone who would enjoy talking to our friendly business clients, local regulars, and our out-of-town hotel guests while serving a pint or two.
Be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly, and have the ability to prioritize tasks when needed.
Holds a Serve It Right certificate.
