Key Responsibilities include:
Provide specialised immunisation support, including cold chain management, immunisation catch-up advice, Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) follow-up, and assessment of Vaccine Management Protocols (VMPs) and Yellow Fever Provider applications.
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to Clinical Nurses within the Public Health Unit, providing expertise on complex cold chain management, immunisation catch-up advice, AEFI follow-up, and Vaccine Management Protocol (VMP) assessments.
Provide leadership in internal immunisation processes, contribute to strategic initiatives to improve vaccination rates, and foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across SCHHS.
Lead and coordinate the School Immunisation Program (SIP), including engagement and education for all SIP providers.
Represent SCPHU in teleconferences and working groups to support immunisation initiatives.

Remuneration value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,+24 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG7).
