About the Role
The University of California, San Diego is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Assistant Professor rank faculty position in Health Services Research, Health Policy, and Implementation Science. This tenure-track appointment will be based on the candidate's background and experience.
As a member of the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science, you will contribute to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body.
This position includes teaching in the School's degree programs, conducting research in Health Services Research, Health Policy, or Implementation Science, and mentoring public health undergraduate or graduate students.
Responsibilities
Teach courses related to Health Services Research, Health Policy, or Implementation Science.
Conduct research in Health Services Research, Health Policy, or Implementation Science.
Mentor public health undergraduate or graduate students.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of two publications appropriate for the Assistant rank level, demonstrated experience in teaching a minimum of one class in a Public Health related topic, and current extramural funding and/or a detailed extramural funding plan.
A PhD, DrPH, or related doctoral degree by the time of start of the appointment is also required.
