Your Role as a Public Place Cleaner
As a Public Place Cleaner, you’ll take on a hands-on, physically active role to keep public areas clean and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include:
Collecting litter and servicing bins
Spot cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
Operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
You’ll start early at 4:00am, finishing by early afternoon - perfect for those who love having the rest of the day free. You’ll work outdoors in all weather conditions, often independently but always as part of a supportive, community-focused team.
What We’re Looking For
Early riser: Comfortable with early morning starts
Team player: Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
Physically fit: Able to perform manual tasks and operate equipment
Tech-ready: Basic computer skills for logging tasks and communication
Essential requirements:
Current Class C Driver’s Licence
Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles

Package: From $63,360 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation
Hours of work: Temporary full time (up to 6 months) 38 hours per week with a * day fortnight over a 7 day spread
