The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Administration Officer, Public Programs APS 4 role in the Community Engagement Section of the Engagement Branch.
This is an exciting, fast-paced role that working with external clients and stakeholders across the Library to deliver a venue hire service and support events including book launches, lectures, discussion panels and conferences.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment to deliver outstanding events. You will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills which you will use to identify client needs and coordinate Library services to meet them. You will be a skilled administrator, able to use Library systems to plan, manage and deliver events.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role (i.e. venue administration, event management, or project management).
The ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration.
