Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative public relations strategies that ensure positive visibility of the company and its brand.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets (print, electronic media, bloggers, and other online publications) to establish the company as an industry thought leader.
Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and articles to the media to secure editorial coverage.
Plan and execute events, press conferences, trade shows, and other PR activities to promote the company's brand.
Act as the main point of contact with the media, responding to inquiries, arranging interviews, and preparing briefing materials for company spokespeople.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent voice and messaging across all communications channels.
Monitor media trends and analyze media coverage to assess public perception of the company and make recommendations for communication strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution of any planned initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field.
At least 1.5 - 2 years of experience in public relations, communication, or marketing.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience in developing and managing PR strategies and campaigns for product launches, events, or services.
Excellent relationship-building, networking, and interpersonal skills.
An in-depth understanding of the role of media relations and the importance of effective communication in building a companys reputation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with media and press release distribution platforms.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
