POSITION SUMMARY
Construct, assemble, or rebuild pumps and pump/motor assemblies, including electric motors, turbines, and similar equipment used in the agricultural and residential water well industry.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
Set and verify parts clearances.
Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
Verify conformance of parts to stock lists.
Fasten or install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using various types of hand tools.
Remove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools or power tools.
Lay out and drill, ream, tap, or cut parts for assembly.
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications.
May be required to perform other general warehouse duties.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
Experience:
1 plus years of experience in parts or warehouse operation.
Computer Skills:
Prefer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and email applications.
Other Requirements:
Excellent mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use various hand tools, such as pneumatic staple gun, air wrenches, electric screwdrivers.
Ability to operate a forklift safely.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Warehouse - including very cool or very warm temperatures.
