Job Description
The Record-to-Report (RTR) team is responsible for managing the accounting processes of a company. As an RTR team leader, you will oversee all aspects of these processes, including reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and leading the RTR team to ensure efficient handling of daily accounting operations.
Overseeing end-to-end RTR management, including reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
Supervising team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Identifying gaps in processes and recommending enhancements to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring coverage and support for US time zones, handling escalations, and critical financial tasks.
Preparing periodic financial reports and maintaining process documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls.
Required qualifications include:
Graduate or equivalent degree; an accounting/finance background is preferred.
