The position / About the Job:
Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and driving sales growth within key accounts and distribution channels for Installed base. The role focuses on identifying and nurturing relationships with strategic customers, offering tailored service solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will collaborate with internal departments and implement strategies to grow the service sales portfolio in key accounts and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored service solutions to address them.
• Identify new business opportunities and areas for expanding service offerings within key accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service and product support to key customers.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Distribution Channel Management:
• Manage and grow the distribution network by establishing strong relationships with partners.
• Collaborate with Channel Partners to ensure alignment with sales targets, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Train and support distributors on service offerings, sales techniques, and product updates.
• Monitor distributor performance and work on strategies to enhance sales within distribution channels.
Sales & Business Development:
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure profitability.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with Customer Support, Service Operations and Customer Success team to deliver integrated service solutions.
Reporting & Forecasting:
• Hands on experience on CRM tool for opportunity management
• Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and customer feedback to senior management.
• Track and report on service sales metrics, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead in the market.
Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales Support:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through post-sales support and follow-up services.
• Address customer complaints or service-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to existing customers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. MBA would be added advantage.
• 10-12 years of experience in sales, service management, or account management.
• Strong understanding of key account management and distribution business models.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and meet targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and Channel Partners.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Purchase Associatefor our Procurement Department to manage end-to-end procurement and vendor management. The role involves sourcing and negotiating with vendors/publishers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate purchase data, and collaborating with connected departments for smooth operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading junior team members while optimizing procurement processes for cost-efficiency and efficiency.

1. Make POs and then give the orders to different vendors.
2. Take follow ups dedicatedly from the vendors.
3. Properly check the invoices received and coordinate with the accounts department for timely clearance of payments.
4. Coordinate with the different vendors to ensure timely receival of books in the office.
5. Actively seek for unable books at alternate sources.
6. Coordinate with different departments and team members in case of any issues.
Required Skills
1. A dedicated individual with some common sense.
2. An individual with patience to take multiple follow - ups daily.
3. Good communication skills , with emphasis on written and spoken English.
4. Able to deal with a great number of vendors at the same time.
5. Capable of coordinating with different departments of the organisation.
Qualifications
• · Graduate from a recognized university (SCM certification/diploma preferred)
• · 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase (Books procurement preferred)
