Job Description
Duties and Responsibility of Purchase Executive:-
· Responsible for making Purchase Order in SAP as per final quote.
· Responsible for new Vendor development.
· Responsible to negotiate price for parts from both local and oversea vendors
· Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
· To monitor the daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
· Resolve supply, quality, service and warranty issues with vendors
· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
· Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
· Undertake any other ad-hoc duties
Desirable skills and knowledge:-
· Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) / Graduate in any discipline, post-graduation not necessary.
· 2-3 years of experience in the Machine Manufacturing Unit is needed.
· Knowledge of MS Office Applications, TALLY and SAP is an additional advantage.
· Must be able to handle sheet metal parts, machining parts, brought out parts like bearing, electrical switchgear, pneumatic component etc.
· Handles more than 1000 items in any manufacturing company.
· Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers.
· Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker.
· Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment.
· Working Location: Rabale, Navi Mumbai
