Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Executive to handle vendor sourcing, procurement of vitamins, nutraceuticals, food ingredients, and packaging materials. This role involves cost control, vendor development, inventory management, and contract negotiations to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
· Source and evaluate vendors for raw materials and packaging items.
· Purchase vitamins, nutraceuticals, food ingredients, and packing materials.
· Negotiate pricing and contracts to reduce procurement costs.
· Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
· Oversee inventory control and maintain optimal stock levels.
· Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act and FSSAI regulations.
· Coordinate with production, quality, and finance teams for smooth operations.
· Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Currently working in a pharmaceutical (formulation) or nutraceutical manufacturing company.
· Experience in vendor development and import sourcing.
· Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Proven ability to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmaceuticals, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 5 years in a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing company.
· Knowledge of purchasing vitamins, nutraceuticals, and food ingredients.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
