Role :: Jr. Purview Developer
Experience :: 4+ Years of relevant experience
Location :: Bengaluru / Hyderabad (Remote)
Shift Timing :: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
Competencies:
3-6 years of experience as a software engineer.
1-2+ years of experience in configuring and deploying Data Governance products, especially within the Azure platform.
Technical experience with:
REST APIs
Programming in Java, Python, C#
Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
Data governance tools: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica Axon, etc.
Data security solutions: Azure Security Center, AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM
Data compliance knowledge: HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Involves gathering, organizing, and documenting metadata and data-related information, and ensuring efficient data discovery and governance processes.
Data discovery and classification: Utilize Microsoft Purview to discover and classify data across an organization's on-premises and cloud environments.
Configure the tool to track the lineage of data, from its source to its destination.
Implement data security policies, such as access control and encryption.
Help organizations comply with various regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
Configure and implement Purview with Scan, Search, Update and other features with system components, evolving it for required user experience and performance.
Design and implement APIs that are fast and flexible.
Work with solution architecture and developer team to build a core product experience that enables users to create, collaborate and monitor highly curated data from underlying sources.
Work with the Solution Architecture team to establish alignment with existing models and standards on a cloud platform.
Contributed to the development of the Microsoft Purview Data Map and Data Catalog.
• Worked with business users to understand their data needs.

• Comfort using programming languages and relational databases
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• 3+ years' of development experience
