Prioritize child readiness over textbook pacing while inviting diverse perspectives, stories, and real-life connections.
Facilitate projects, provocations, and discussions that spark genuine curiosity and engagement.
View each lesson as co-authoring a child’s worldview rather than simply delivering content.
2. Student Assessment & FeedbackDocument learning through portfolios, journals, peer reflections, and storytelling.
Provide feedback that is constructive, respectful, and growth-oriented.
Focus on progress and effort, not just outcomes — seeing assessment as dialogue rather than declaration.
3. Pastoral Support & MentorshipServe as a steady presence and mentor for learners, supporting their emotional, social, and academic journeys.
Offer empathy and guidance during challenges and moments of discovery.
Be engaged in community life beyond the classroom — in shared experiences and celebrations.
4. Co-Curricular EngagementIntegrate personal passions — such as music, art, gardening, sports, or storytelling — into the learning environment.
Design experiences that foster ethics, sustainability, collaboration, and joy.
