Primary Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications for the stock broking industry
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and ship new features
• Collaborate with data scientists and quantitative analysts to develop and implement models
• for trading and risk management
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing tools
• Optimize code for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Python development and finance
Requirement-
• 3+ years of experience in Python development
• Solid understanding of core Python concepts and libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Flask)
• Experience with data processing and analysis
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of financial concepts and instruments (e.g., stocks, options, futures) is a plus
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
