Job Summary:
A large oil and gas client is looking for a Python Developer to join their offshore team. This person will be joining the team to prepare for all upcoming multi-year long projects. This person will use python development on a regular basis along with C#, WPF, WCS, and C++ languages based on their knowledge. They will be working majorly in Cosmos DB and some in SQL DB. Some projects they will be working on will be using statistical and mathematical models to work them into the software. There will be many complex scenarios that will need to be figured out. This role will be 100% remote
6+ Months contract and will extend based on performance / 100% remote role. No taxes / PF
Responsibilities:
• 4+ years of strong Python development experience
• Experience with 1 or more of the following technologies: C#, WPF, WCS, and C++ (order priority)
• Experience with Cosmos DB
• Experience working on projects where they had to utilize and create mathematical or statistical models and work them into software
• Experience in complex scenarios and projects
• Candidates must have their own computer to work from!
• Plusses (not required): Oil and gas experience or finance, healthcare, or banking
