We are hiring an experienced Python Developer for a short-term, onsite role in Houston. You will develop analytics solutions using Python and Databricks, focusing on Monte Carlo simulations and risk analysis. Collaborate with analytics leads and risk management teams to deliver actionable insights through data visualization and statistical modeling. Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Build and optimize Python-based workflows in Databricks.
Run Monte Carlo simulations and statistical models for risk analysis.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and communicate findings.
Create dashboards and visualizations to present insights.
Work closely with data analytics and risk teams.
Document methodologies and results.
Requirements:
6–9 years of Python development experience.
Strong Databricks skills (data processing, notebooks, workflows).
Expertise in statistical modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, and probability analysis.
Proficiency in data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn, etc.).
Intermediate AI/ML experience.
Experience supporting risk analytics teams.
Strong communication skills.
Oil & Gas knowledge preferred.
