Qualification / Skillsets
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline with over 5+ yrs of work experience in Software Application Development
OR
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline with over 4+ yrs of work experience in Software Application Development
• Proficient in building ETL pipelines using Python and Spark
• Strong experience with database technologies such as ability to write queries in PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Hive, Mongo DB, NoSQL, Spark SQL, MySQL, Oracle using SQL, joins, execute DDL/DMLs, query and performance tuning, data partition, etc.
• Experience in Big Data technologies in Hadoop ecosystem – Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Yarn, Kafka, Pig, HBase, Sqoop, Elastic Search, Kerberos.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing data lake ingestion, validation, transformation and consumption services leveraging big data tools like Hive, MongoDB, Spark, Snowflake.
• Experience in Zaloni, or any other ETL Tool
• Practical experience in implementing AWS data services: S3, EFS, EMR, Redshift, RDS, Airflow, Data Pipeline using Microservices architecture and cloud migration.
• Experience with DevOps or CI/CD process - build/deploy tools (Git/ANT/Maven /ElectricFlow/Jenkins)
• Must have worked in financial service industry with sound knowledge of investment management and its related concepts.
• Good Communication Skills
