Job Description
Role: Python Developer – (OCR & Gen AI) Locrion: Mumbai (Onsite) Experience: 2-3 years We’re looking for a Python Developer with expertise in OCR, data extraction, and Gen AI to build scalable document intelligence solutions. You'll work across teams to transform unstructured documents into structured, actionable data using cutting-edge OCR libraries and generative AI models. Key Responsibilities: Develop OCR-based data extraction workflows in Python. Integrate and optimize Tesseract, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR, and cloud OCR (AWS Textract, Google Vision). Use OpenCV, PIL, and NumPy for image preprocessing and enhancement. Parse and structure extracted data for downstream systems. Leverage LLMs (GPT, LayoutLM, Donut) for classification and entity extraction. Collaborate with backend, data science, and DevOps teams for CI/CD and support. Write clean, testable code and maintain documentation. Must-Have Skills: Strong Python skills with NumPy, Pandas. OCR expertise (Tesseract, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR). Image preprocessing with OpenCV, PIL. Experience with REST APIs and document workflows. Strong debugging and production problem-solving. Nice to Have: Experience with Gen AI, LLMs (GPT, LLaMA), Langchain, Vector DB. Familiarity with LayoutLM, Donut, TrOCR. Knowledge of NLP tasks (classification, NER, semantic search). Experience with Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
