Python Fullstack Developer (Javascript)

Our client in the public sector is seeking a contract based Python Fullstack developer to work on their web portals.

Duration: 12 months + extension option

Location: Remote (PST)

Responsibilities:

• Translate software specifications into clean, efficient code in Python/Javascript.

• Develop and maintain applications that support funding programs and data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure code reusability and maintenance efficiency.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and reference materials.

• Provide post-implementation maintenance and liaise with Business Analysts and stakeholders.

• Improve existing features and contribute to new functionality for their web portals.

• Work within an Agile environment, following best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and API development.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Python full stack developer (API dev, Javascript, React)

• Ideally experience in government portals

• 2+ years experience in Container Orchestration in Docker: 1 year
