The project will deliver the enhancements and support to the Retail Credit Risk Inventory within the bank.
The developer will work with Product owner(s), Pod Lead, Solution Architect, TPM and teams to deliver the requirements as per the business priorities and help business achieve objectives
In this role, you will:
• Design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective,Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools to enable the delivery of bank's products and services
• Design, develop and deploy applications capable of meeting the anticipated load, performance, availability, security and resilience requirements,Design and develop software with a focus on automation of build, testing and deployment process on all environments to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard,Ensure high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record
• Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team,Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
• Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement,Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable. Experience and Skills
Essential
• Primary technical skills SQL, Python, Pyspark, Hive, Unix, GCP.
• Secondary skills Hadoop, ETL, Control-M (or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of Hands-on experience in Python, Spark, Hive, SQL, GCP technologies,Good to have exposure in Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Big Data, Hadoop Data Platform (HDP) and ETL and capable of configuring data pipelines,Skills and experience to support the upgrade from Hadoop to Cloudera,Good knowledge of Industry Best Practice for ETL Design, Principles, Concepts,Data Extraction from Teradata, HIVE, Oracle, and Flat files,Ability to work independently on specialized assignments within the context of project deliverables
• Take ownership of providing solutions and tools that iteratively increase engineering efficiencies,Design should help embed standard processes, systems and operational models into the BAU approach for end-to-end execution of Data Pipelines
• Proven problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business and technical domain knowledge
