What you’ll do
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Python developers.
Mentor and coach team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
System Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to design scalable and robust systems in the banking domain.
Define the architecture and design patterns for Python-based applications and systems.
Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and industry guidelines.
Python Development:
Lead the development of Python-based applications and modules within the banking domain.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python frameworks and libraries.
Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and data processing components.
XML Integration and Processing:
Work with XML-based data and files in the banking domain.
Develop parsers and processors to handle XML data and integrate it with the Python-based systems.
Ensure compliance with XML standards and specifications.
Database Integration:
Integrate Python applications with databases (such as SQL or NoSQL) to store and retrieve banking-related data.
Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure performance and data integrity.
Implement data migration and synchronization processes as needed.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Define and implement quality assurance processes, including code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Python-based systems through rigorous testing and debugging.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage the development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, resource allocation, and tracking.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
Documentation and Technical Writing:
Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Ensure documentation is up to date and easily accessible to the team."
