Role: Python Tester
Location: India(Bangalore and Coimbatore) and Malaysia (KL)
Work Model: Onsite/Remote
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to ensure software quality.
2. Perform functional, regression and system testing to identify defects.
3. Apply mathematical principles to develop and execute test cases for software applications.
4. Validate complex geometry calculations within software systems.
5. Analyse and report test results to test manager.
6. Provide testing efforts estimates. Plan and lead test coverage reviews with test manager
Skills Required:
1. Proven experience as a QA for 5 or more years. A marine engineering background would be an advantage.
2. Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
3. Proficient in Python programming for test automation.
4. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest.
5. Expertise in excel.
6. Strong understanding of mathematical/geometry concepts, algorithms etc
7. Solid understanding of Azure DevOps
8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development
