2-4 Years Experience Product Solution Engineer (PSE)

Desired Skills:

1. Prior programming experience; Python

■ 2. Automation scripting: More advanced tools preferred; Ex: Python or Shell.

3. Should have experience in managing issues and debugging skills.

4. Good exposure to MySQL and writing SQL queries

5. Good experience in linux and troubleshooting

6.Have a good understanding of DB fundamentals.

7. Familiarity in Storm, Zookeeper, Kafka, Elastic Search, Aerospike, Redis, HBase, Aesop is appreciated (although not mandatory)

The role:

1. In this role you would be responsible for day to day maintenance of systems, which augment the rest of the engineering ecosystem. This engineer would also often act as the first line of support for internal applications at Flipkart while fixing bugs, developing and deploying small components of code.

1. The role of the Production Support Engineer is a technical role that ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the platform / system and services. 1. This individual will work under the general direction of a Supervisor, while managing their own time and resources to support daily operational activities (monitoring and maintaining Servers and services of the platform). Responsibility: * Analyze problems reported runtime, diagnose and do occasional code fixes with low to medium complexity * Work with developers to identify and resolve more complicated problems * Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs * Adapt installer, shell scripts and perl scripts and aggressively automate manual / repetitive tasks through scripting. * Automate scripts / tasks for reporting and maintenance; and build anomaly detectors wherever applicable * Provide feedback from customer users to the team * Maintain on-going record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on call tracking system. * Proactively monitors production and non-production environments and applications. Fix any issues in the same. * Be proactive and independent in monitoring, identifying and fixing issues * Develop smaller complexity features/enhancements in existing system component

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced internet start-up environment.
Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.
Understanding of AI/ML algorithms is a plus.
