Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django frameworks.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
3. Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient backend solutions using Django ORM, views, models, and templates.
4. Create and integrate APIs, RESTful web services, and third-party integrations.
5. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure the smooth functioning of applications.
7. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end components with back-end functionality.
8. Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient database design, caching techniques, and query optimization.
+. Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard user data and protect against common web vulnerabilities.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Python and Django ecosystem, and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks.
11. Document code, technical specifications, and project-related information to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain project documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Solid experience with Python and Django, with 3-4 years of hands-on development experience.
3. Strong understanding of web application development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
4. Proficiency in Django ORM, views, models, forms, and template languages (such as Django templates).
5. Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
6. Good knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.
7. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
8. Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with agile development methodologies.
