Join Tesco Mobile as a QA Agile Engineer to support Agile teams in delivering high-quality software within a collaborative, innovative environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure product quality
• Write and implement test cases for web and mobile applications
• Learn and apply QA tools and automation frameworks
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and retrospectives
• Support defect tracking and root cause analysis
• Embrace feedback and continuous learning
• Work across squads such as Carehub, eCommerce, and Tech & Data
About You
The company is looking for:
• Internship experience in Tech, IT, QA, or Software Testing
• Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or in progress)
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or working towards it
• Exposure to testing tools, scripting, or version control systems
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• At least 3 months of hands-on experience or internship in software development or testing
• Quick learner with passion for technology and software quality
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to explore new tools and methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Curiosity about Agile practices and testing principles
