Job Title- QA Automation
Location-Pune Magarpatta City
Role Description
We are looking for Test Automation Lead / Sr. Test Automation Engineer(s) having experience on working with Selenium, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, BDD Cucumber and API testing. The candidate should have experience on designing & developing Automation Framework(s). It is an added advantage if candidate has experience on working with WebdriverIO/Karate frameworks. The candidate should be proficient in SQL and Unix commands. The candidate must have good communication skill.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Individual contributor & Sr. Test Automation Engineer / Architect role within the Compliance IT Development Project.
• Responsible to define the Test Automation Strategy & Plans at Application level as well as at each Release level
• Responsible to design & develop Automation Framework for Java / Angular based application(s)
• Responsible to automate API Testing, ETL tests, database testing, functional UI & regression tests
• Comply with the organization’s existing SDLC & QA standards & also introduce industry best practices within Test Automation / QA.
• Communicate with multiple roles within development team & produce reports to Senior Management.
• MUST have MINIMUM 4 years of HANDS-ON experience in automating tests using Selenium, JAVA, JavaScript/TypeScript, Cucumber BDD.
• MUST have experience in design & development of Automation Framework(s).
• MUST have strong analytical & coding skills to automate tests for Java / Angular based application(s) based applications.
• MUST have hands on experience in writing medium to high complex SQL queries
• MUST have excellent verbal and written communications.
• Should have experience in developing test automation framework for implementing continuous integration.
• Should have experience in / exposure to tools like HP ALM, CI tools-Jenkins, SVN / Bitbucket, JIRA etc.
Your skills and experience :
Exposure
• Strong understanding of technologies as under:
Automation Testing: JUnit, Mokito, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Karate, Cucumber
SCM: BitBucket
Practices: Code Quality, Sonar, Veracode, Security, DevOPS, Agile, CI & CD
Scheduling: Control M
SDLC Tools - JAMA, JIRA, Sonar, Veracode /JFrog, TeamCity, BitBucket, ALM etc.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong debugging skills and hands on configuration, deployments and promotions on Fabric server
• Proficient communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written/verbal).
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations.
• Excellent team player and open-minded approach
• Keeps pace with technical innovation.
• Understands the relevant business area.
• Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.
• Ability to design and write code in accordance with provided business requirements
• Knowledge of IT delivery and architecture
• Relevant Financial Services experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery.
• Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility.
• Strong Java understanding with technical expertise and knowledge of below technologies
• Exposure to other technologies like UNIX, Job Scheduling (Exp: Control-M) etc.
• Candidate is expected to have high desire to learn new technologies and implement various solutions in fast paced environment.
10+ Years of technology experience, continuous hands-on coding exposure, and ability to drive solutions
Advantage : Experience in / exposure to Investment Bank / Financial Markets / Compliance domain(s).
Working experience in Safe Agile methodology.
Strong experience on performance / NFRs testing and its associated tools and components.
Education and Qualification:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
