We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Selenium, along with working knowledge of Cypress or Playwright, and strong experience in CI/CD integration. This role demands a passionate quality who can build robust automation frameworks, drive test strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast paced agile environment. Play a key role in maintaining the quality of our applications by designing scalable automation solutions and ensuring seamless integration with modern DevOps pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks using Selenium along with Cypress or Playwright.
Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Develop comprehensive and reusable test scripts that validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.
Perform detailed failure analysis, report defects, and work closely with development teams to drive resolution.
Participate in code reviews and enforce quality standards across the QA team.
Mentor and support junior QA engineers in test automation strategy and implementation.
Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation coverage, and tool adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6–8 years of overall experience in QA, with at least 5 years in automation.
Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, with working knowledge of either Cypress or Playwright (minimum 1–2 years).
Demonstrated expertise in test automation framework design and scalable script development.
Solid hands-on experience in Java and/or JavaScript for test scripting.
Proficient in integrating automation suites into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
In-depth understanding of software development and testing life cycles, Agile/Scrum practices.
Strong analytical skills, debugging capabilities, and a passion for quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud-based automation solutions or test execution platforms.
Knowledge of test reporting frameworks and dashboard integration.
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
