Roles & Responsibilities:
They are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced QA Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team. In this role, you will help by assuring the quality of technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to their company’s success. You will focus on quality and reliability of products throughout all phases of the development lifecycle and must have a solid skill set, a desire to continue to grow as a QA engineer, and a team-player mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automation test cases for assigned changes.
• Building up environments independently to test assigned work.
• Executing manual and automation tests.
• Reporting the result.
• Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports.
• Investigate customer problems.
• Engage and participate on an Agile team of software developers.
• Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments. Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle
• Strive to deploy all products and updates on time
• Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments
• Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same
• Help junior team members grow and develop their skills
• Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively
This Role Requires:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT, preferably in a corporate setting and experience in testing commercial applications.
• Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies.
• Experience working with SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Must have test experience on Linux and UNIX environments.
• Must have experience and knowledge of JavaScript.
• Must have experience in test Automation frameworks like Selenium , Cypress.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java is an added advantage
• Experience is testing SaaS based cloud applications hosted at Amazon AWS.
• Experience creating test strategies that ensure comprehensive, pragmatic, and scalable testing approaches.
• Experience designing and debugging tests that measure performance and functionality under scale and load.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile, continuous integration products like Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines a plus
• Looking for Candidates from Pune, Bangalore, or Chennai locations.
• Candidates from Companies working on AI would be preferred.
