Job Description
1. Quality Management Systems (QMS) & Compliance
SOP Development: Establishing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every department, from fabric sourcing to final packing.
Standards Alignment: Ensuring the factory meets international quality standards like ISO 9001 and specific buyer requirements (e.g., AQL levels).
Audit Readiness: Leading internal audits and preparing the facility for third-party technical and social compliance audits required by export clients.
2. Pre-Production & Sampling
PP Meetings: Organizing and leading Pre-Production (PP) meetings with merchants and production heads to identify potential construction risks before bulk cutting starts.
Sample Approval: Reviewing and approving size sets and gold seals to ensure the "fit for purpose" and "right first time" principles are met.
Risk Analysis: Conducting hazard analyses on new styles to implement preventive measures for difficult operations.
3. Production & In-Process Oversight
Material Inspection: Overseeing the testing of incoming raw materials (fabric, trims, and accessories) for colorfastness, shrinkage, and GSM.
Inline Audits: Monitoring traffic light systems and inline inspections in the sewing lines to catch defects at the source.
Pilot Runs: Supervising the "pilot run" (first few pieces of bulk) to verify that the mass-produced garment matches the approved sample in fit and workmanship.
4. Technical Problem Solving & CAPA
Root Cause Analysis: When defects occur, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to understand why and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Waste Reduction: Implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce "Cost of Poor Quality" (COPQ) by minimizing reworks and rejections.
5. Stakeholder & Team Management
Buyer Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for buying house QCs during final random inspections (FRI).
Training: Developing training programs for quality inspectors and operators to ensure everyone understands the latest quality benchmarks.
Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports (DHU - Defects Per Hundred Units) for senior management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
