ROLE SUMMARY:

As Automation QA candidate will be responsible Test and certify the product during in-sprint testing and SIT. Candidate should very strong in Database and SQL skills. Hands on experience in Data Integration and Investment banking products. Will be responsible for providing the Automation solution and follow BDD/TDD in sprint.

The candidate should have vast experience in application delivery in iterative mode, Agile working culture and Good experience in Investment Banking products. Candidate should also possess good Java technology understanding and should have experience in working a dynamic environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requirement: Understand the business requirements and provide the QA.

• Technology Delivery: Translate the requirement to a low level design and work with project teams to deliver. Build reusable components, automate and provide solution for quick turnaround. Deep-dive into the design of the application from a technology point of view, enabling internal tech specialists and vendor partner to bring forth best solutions.

EXPERIENCE/ Skill:

• Extensive demonstrated hands on experience using Java and experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications and database experience (SQL Server and/or Oracle)

• 8+ years of proven experience with Java and focus on low latency programming, mult-threading, collections, concurrency & optimization

• Solid understanding of design patterns

• Working knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, Web 2.0 and a solid grasp of common UI design patterns and solid understanding of Object Oriented Principles

• Extensive HTML, CSS, Web Service (REST), JUnit (or Selenium) experience

• Experience in Big Data Solutions including Hadoop ecosystem and the technologies that comprise it

• Practical experience with Build Tools (preferably Maven), Source Code Control (preferably Git), Continuous Integration (Hudson, Jenkins or TeamCity) and Cloud/ Docker based application deployment. Kafka, Spark, Elastic and Kibana working expertise. Professional GWT/GXT, Angular/React experience. TDD experience. Data modeling experience. Digitization experience: OCR, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics

• Proficient in Agile Development and understanding/knowledge of JIRA

Ability to produce well-tested, documented, high-performance code to tight schedules

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) – with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering preferred.

Database : SQL Server, Oracle, SQL Developer

Language/scripting : Core Java, Java script

Operating Systems : Windows, Unix, Linux

Experience in : SOAP UI, SVN, GIT, Agile will be added advantage
