Job Title: QAD Consultant – Operations & Finance
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, CSC) or MCA / M.Sc. (IT, CS) with 2 to 10 years of experience in QAD and Progress
Skills
Ø Experience / Expertise / Knowledge in
o QAD Standard Edition, Enterprise edition , eB 2.1 version and above
o Awareness of Progress 4GL
Ø Functional expertise in Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions, Finance modules
Ø Worked in Global Multi National organization – understanding requirements from global perspective
o Understanding of various cultures and approach
o Knowledge on global languages is desirable
Ø Thorough understanding of SDLC processes and working experience in Requirement Analysis, Functional Specification preparation, Development, Testing and User Training.
Ø Experience in Peer testing and code reviews would be an advantage
Ø Automotive business domain knowledge – Desirable, would be an added advantage
Job responsibilities
Ø Providing Level 2/3/4 and on-call support to Global Business
Ø Communicate with Process leaders in business to track the support tickets to closure
Ø Provide clarifications to the queries raised by end users
Ø Carrying out system study, understand the functional requirements and prepare the functional specifications
Ø Provide an efficient and feasible solution to the issue reported by the end users
Ø Preparation of technical/Functional specifications
Ø Preparation of test cases and scenarios and review with BA
Ø Review the functional specifications and interact with end user / BA for clarifications
Ø Interact with developers and clarify the development queries and Monitor the development status and ensure on time development
Ø Release for UAT and provide UAT support

Ø Versatile, Team Player, Good Learner, Positive Attitude
Ø Good communication and Client interaction
Ø Take Ownership and responsibilities and welcome challenges
Ø Prepare to work in multiple time zones based on business needs
