Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to manage our QAD landscape. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in QAD EE, QAD SE, and lower versions, as well as expertise in RDBMS concepts, Progress DBA tasks, YAB Administration, and Unix/Linux management. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our QAD environment, including progress databases and systems. This includes database setup, backups, extent addition, AfterImage file management, schema modification, and performance analysis. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, proactive, and has excellent communication skills. They should also be able to work independently on multiple assignments simultaneously and propose improvements where applicable.
