Job Description
The Quality Assurance Developer will be an integral part of IBM's Security Intelligence QRadar software development team responsible for helping deliver defect fixes and new features to customers through a combination of manual and automated testing, including creating, maintaining and running regression test suites. The ideal candidate will either have previous software testing experience, especially with automated testing, or software development experience with a passion for quality. This work will have a direct impact on making QRadar a better, higher quality SIEM product, maintaining IBM Security's standing as the global leader in IT security products.
Main Responsibilities include:
• The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality software in compliance with technical design and secure engineering best practices
• Turn feature requirements and defect/story descriptions into concrete test cases and well structured, maintainable automation code.
• Deliver comprehensive software test cases and test automation in alignment with the established business priority
• Work in collaboration with our agile development team delivering own tasked work and helping ensure success for teammates deliverables as well.
• Participate in the team's agile ceremonies and help drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Care to critique, actively provide open and respectful feedback with the aim to help strengthen and improve team process, dynamics, and the work we deliver
• Troubleshoot and diagnose software problems and provide suggested solutions with focus on quality and impact to users.
• Report status on a regular basis and ensure a high level of quality for all deliverables
