The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in QLIKSENSE. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

2 days onsite in either Ottawa or Toronto mandatory, 1 of those days is Tues, the other is flex
Development of bilingual applications (but does not have to be a bilingual speaker)
Services:
This Senior Developer will design, develop, maintain, test and deploy the code and implementation of Qlik based visualizations, dashboards and reports, including Qlik data models, security models, backend integration with AWS S3/Redshift, embedding in Drupal based web pages thru mashups, following approved architecture design, AODA (WCAG 2.0) compliance, bilingual (Eng/FR) requirements and User Experience provided wireframes and Information Architecture directives. This candidate will also involve in building applications using AI features in AWS Quicksight.
The successful candidate must:
• Be proficient in Qlik Sense development, data modeling and dashboards/visualizations, reporting techniques, extensions and web integration of Qlik Sense apps to Drupal web pages through Mashups.
• Be proficient in AWS Quicksight BI development and be proficient in using AI features in AWS Quicksight
• Have hands on experience building applications with large data sets
• Have hands-on experience with Data transformation, creation of QVD files and set analysis.
• Be experienced in application design, architecture, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Applying the best practices for visualizations, the design must follow standards/UX guidelines/wireframes and be AODA (WCAG 2.0) compliant and bilingual (Eng/FR).
• Be able to understand and translate technical and business requirements into Qlik architectural designs.
• Be able to implement the proposed technical solution using the Cloud Technology stack (AWS, Redshift, S3, Informatica, Drupal).
• Be experienced with Qlik Management Console, including Management, Security rules and Maintenance of tasks, Extensions, Streams and Apps.
• Be experienced with handling performance issues with Qlik applications (Performance tuning).
• Have knowledge/experience in utilizing Qlik API’s for integration with web pages through true mashups.
