The Product Control IT team within FSG Tech IT organization is looking for a BI Developer experienced in Qlik Sense with Big Data expertise. The candidate will play a Qlik sense / BI key developer role and partner with current Dev Lead for achieving PC Reporting deliveries. The role will contribute towards the delivery of the PC Strategy & Reporting program which entails significant improvement to overnight batches and migration of legacy P&L (Profit and Loss applications to the strategic F1 (big data) and Finance Portal (reporting) platforms. The program has a strong business-case, and the role is crucial to program`s successful delivery. The candidate should have experience in implementing large scale applications and will be expected to partner with our key stakeholders across the divisions. Our team works to create innovative business solutions and strive to deliver strategic-initiatives using our deep functional expertise. These solutions are essential to meeting various regulatory reporting initiatives across the bank’s strategic infrastructure. This senior developer will work on both area-specific and firm-wide projects, implementing business process improvement and all other Product Control Tech strategy initiatives.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess below:
Essential
• 3-5 yrs Experience working with Business Intelligence/data visualization tools with specialization on Qlik Sense
• Hands-on experience in design, build and support BI solutions using Qlik Sense
• Familiar with troubleshooting report/dashboard data issues and performance issues in Qlik Sense
• Experience with implementing Web based BI Solutions (Web Mashups/BI Embedding)
• General familiarity with programming, particularly web focused code like JavaScript (Angular /React) /HTML 5/CSS and web frameworks/APIs
• Experience with BI Security Model
• Client facing experience who can quickly adopt the best-practices to positively impact customer experience
• Experience working with extremely large data volumes is a plus and the ability to the craft complex queries (SQL)
• Understand and interpret functional and non-functional specifications into design solutions.
• Superb communication and presentation skills
• Work closely with business analysts and the end users to define the report visualizations
Preferred
• Hands on experience on Big Data Tech Stack - HDFS, Impala, Hive, HBase, Spark, Sqoop, kudu, Python, Shell Scripting
• Experience in setting up an end-to-end application architecture of a large-scale BI/reporting tool
• Experience in the creation of Extension objects using Qlik Capability APIs and QLIK Engine API
• Experience at a major investment or global commercial bank
• Known to new BI Tools i.e., Power
