Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

What are we building ?
- Payments Infrastructure: Build strong lending and payment rails that will form the foundation of everything we do
Consumer Experience: Build an excellent consumer product that helps parents achieve their goal of making education fee payments with ease
- Partner Institute Experience: Build an intuitive revenue management platform for our institutes that helps them forecast and reconcile cash flows
- Internal Tooling: Build on the in-house CRM, loan management, reconciliation systems, onboarding and data visualization tools to help internal teams do their best work and serve our institutes and parents efficiently
Who will excel at this role :
We are looking for someone who :
- Has 3+ years of experience working as a Backend Developer in high-growth consumer internet companies
- Is proficient in building RESTful APIs, has a strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Prior working knowledge of Python/Django is a big plus
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of AWS or any other Cloud Platform services
- Ability to analyze and convert business requirements into technical requirements
- Has a high sense of ownership and a bias for action
- Is a people's person and can lead without authority
What will they be responsible for ?
- They will work on one or more of the tracks mentioned above
- Own the end-to-end delivery - design, execute, test and deploy
- Work as an individual contributor, champion code quality
- Build and train a team of rockstar engineers as the organization grows
