About The Role
You will be responsible for assisting with compliance and preventative maintenance planning to adhere to local, state, and federal legislation. Your tasks will involve the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and servicing of hotel assets, ensuring they meet the 5-star design and standard of QT Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to all guest and staff maintenance requests promptly, minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
Complete a variety of handyman jobs throughout the hotel without supervision, ensuring quality and diligence.
Actively identify and resolve property operating issues in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas with a hands-on approach.
Effectively prioritize tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to gather information and execute tasks effectively.
Aid in developing processes that ensure all departments comply with legal requirements, including emergency procedures and safety protocols.
Implement safety management practices to minimize risks of accidents or incidents.
Use and maintain all equipment and machinery safely and correctly.
Support the Maintenance Manager in establishing best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct daily walkthroughs of the hotel, inside and out, to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and the hotel is well-maintained.
This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of QT Melbourne and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests and staff.
