Qualified Beauty therapist required for our busy beauty salon in Newtown.
Our busy beauty salon in Newtown is looking for an additional beauty therapist to join our small team. We specialise in skin care, facial treatments, waxing, spray tans, IPL treatments, manicures, pedicures, microdermabrasion, skin needling, dermaplaning, body treatments and much more.
We are looking for a mature, PUNCTUAL, well presented, reliable, hard working, friendly and like minded person to join our team. We are looking for someone who will fit in with us and is happy to learn our way of doing things even if it is different to how they have been trained previously.
The right candidate will have good time management skills, initiative, a great work ethic and be a fast learner. Our job is hard work as we are a very busy salon and on our feet all day and we require someone with the capability to work fast and efficiently and to not be standing around, please don't apply if you're looking for a slow paced environment.
The role will be 20-28 hours per week (2- 3 days) with the option to increase to a full time role as you build a client base and complete in -salon training over the course of a 2 year period. You will need to be available every Saturday and 2 late nights in the week on Wednesday and Thursday until 8pm- no Sunday work required. We are looking for someone to join the team on a long term basis of 3 years +
On the job training is available for the right candidate. No experience required however the successful candidate must have a beauty qualification, be a very quick learner and be able to apply themselves to intense training for the first initial months/year.
Note: only permanent Australian residents will be considered for this role.
