Exciting Relocation Opportunity to Ireland for Truck/Diesel Mechanics to work as a CVRT (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test) Tester in Ireland. GlobalForce Resource are working in partnership with a leading municipal waste and recycling company in Ireland to recruit 5 plus certified and experienced Truck/Diesel Mechanics.
Successful candidates will need to have completed a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering and have excellent spoken and written English.
Our client is a large family owned and run business, with over 30 years’ experience in Municipal Waste and Recycling industry in Ireland. They supply customers with innovative waste recycling solutions, handled in a professional, compliant and reliable manner. They’re Irelands largest waste collection and recycling company, currently employing 2000+ employees.

Position Description:
As a CVRT Tester, you will play a crucial role in our Test Centre, conducting inspections on both Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV).
Key Skills:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering
- Have completed an apprenticeship and gained post qualification as a Truck/Diesel Mechanic
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organisational and self-motivational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated team player with a strong commitment to team success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CVRT inspections on HCVs and LCVs
- Carryout out Tachograph Calibrations (training will be provided).
- Carryout out NSAI plating (training will be provided).
- Carryout out Speed limiter Calibrations (training will be provided).
- Possess an HCV Licence (an advantage).
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient testing processes.

- Opportunity to live and work in Ireland for up to 5 years on a work permit with the potential to gain Permanent Residency thereafter.
