Job Summary
Capra Coaching provides tutoring to students ranging from Kindy to Year 12 at our centre in Mosman.
We are looking for qualified teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience to join our Mosman centre. The role is also suited to students studying a Bachelor of Education or a Masters of Teaching as it will complement your studies very well.
Retired teachers and more experienced teachers are also encouraged to apply, with higher rates being negotiable.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following characteristics:
hold relevant educational qualifications or have relevant experience (NESA accreditation)
have a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience teaching in a primary school;
be caring, passionate and able to engage & motivate students;
be available ideally from 4 to 7pm on at least one weekday, and/or flexible hours on weekends; Later start times are also possible on weekdays; Weekend hours available on Saturdays or Sundays between 9am-5pm in blocks of 3-4 hours or more as requested by the applicant;

We have a lovely community of students and teachers/tutors at our centre. A supportive, nurturing environment has been created for our students with strong bonds forged with their tutors.
Most lessons are 1:1 and our students really thrive and improve with this tailored, individual treatment. Teachers also enjoy having the autonomy to direct the lessons as they see fit in order to help students attain the greatest benefit from their sessions at Capra with access to all our resources. Small classes capped at 4 students are also offered.

Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
