Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, test automation, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
2. Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
- Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
3. Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously improve test automation practices and processes.
- Research and recommend new automation tools and technologies.
- Mentor and train team members on automation best practices.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Provide regular status updates on test coverage, automation progress, and quality metrics.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA analysts.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA automation, including writing and maintaining automated tests.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g.,cypress selanium, JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
