This senior role will provide leadership and advice on the implementation and management of organisational-wide quality and risk management strategies and programmes, which ensure quality and risk management is embedded throughout the district and closely linked to national frameworks.
Key responsibilities will include:
Being an advocate and sponsor for risk control and prevention strategies
Overseeing the continuing development and delivery of quality and risk management training
Proactively managing the quality assurance programme including compliance, complaint and adverse event processes
Providing support, advice and guidance on all aspects of quality and risk management
Work with national oversight groups to ensure alignment and shared learnings and understanding in both quality and risk areas
To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience in a healthcare organisation working in a quality and risk management role. This will be supported by a Masters level qualification or equivalent in health administration or management.
Strong communication and problem solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across an organisation are essential in this role.
